Club Rules

GENERAL CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

To assist us in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for all members and staff, please abide by the following conditions. Failure to abide by these conditions may result in suspension, after-hours access removal, or termination of your membership.

  1. Entry will be refused or you may be requested to leave the club if:

       a) You are using abusive or threatening language or behaving in a threatening

       b) You are under the influence of drugs or

2. Freeway is a non-smoking facility

3. Sauna, spa and relaxation zone areas are available for male and female use and as such minimum standards of dress

4. Dress code: Clean sports shoes must be worn during workouts for safety Members are required to wear a singlet or T-shirt at all times in the club. Clothing must be clean and tidy with no offensive prints or designs for the consideration of other members.

5. Towels must be used when participating in any/ all fitness activity including classes and when exercising on gym equipment to maintain hygiene and safety You must wipe down your machine.

6. Afterhours A separate form is required to be completed at reception by an employee of Freeway. Breach of the afterhours access conditions will result in a fine and access removed. Please refer to afterhours access form. $100 fee applies if a breach occurs.

7. Weight plates and any equipment must be replaced into correct location: non-compliance will not be A $20 fee will apply. No warnings.

8. All client must have and use a hand their own hand towel. $20 fee applies if they don’t.

9. Bags (of any type) are not allowed in the training areas. Please ensure you use the change rooms and lockers provided.

 

2.CHILDERN:

Children up to and including 12 years of age who are not members of Freeway are not permitted anywhere within the club. Children 12 years and over can join as a member at Freeway (with authorization of parent or guardian) but may be restricted access to some facilities and services.

3. PERSONAL TRAINING:

Personal training services are available for use at Freeway. Please contact the club for more information. Personal Trainers are sub contacts and all arrangements for personal training services should be made directly with the trainer. Please note only authorized Freeway registered Personal Trainers are permitted to train members in Freeway. Conducting personal training within Freeway without an approved trainer may result in the cancellation of your membership, access or services removed.

4. EQUIPMENT and Hand Towels:

For the safety of you and others, please follow all equipment operating and safety instructions on the equipment. If you are not sure of the correct use or operation of equipment please seek assistance from a Freeway team member or book a fitness appointment.

Failure to unload and restack or place your equipment back in the correct location will result in a $20 fee. All clients must have and use a hand towel while training. A $20 clean fee will apply otherwise.

5. LOCKERS:

Lockers are available and are located in the changing rooms. Freeway employees or contracts are not responsible for the loss or damage to personal property. The lockers provided are not security devices. No use of lockers during reception unstaffed hours. A call-out fee of $150 will apply if the locker use is used during after-hours access. Unfortunately, Freeway is unable to look after your personal possession. No bags in training areas, Foyer or other areas other than change rooms.

6. POOL USE:

Normal pool safety rules apply for safety and convenience of all users; please see full details posted on pool deck. Pool areas are not supervised and use of these facilities is at your own risk. Children under 12 years old must be supervised by an adult at all times.

7. Food / Drink:

Food and drink are required to be kept in a spill proof plastic container. No glass bottles, containers, plates, food, etc. are permitted in training areas, pool area and change rooms. Food must remain in club foyer only. Use of kitchenette requires cleaning and return of utensils.

8. SAFETY, MAINTENANCE & SERVICE DEMAND:

From time to time Freeway may be required to make changes to the operation of the premises, there may include: Changing the operating hours to suit demand.

Changing the availability of facilities or services within the club.

Closing off part of the premises or equipment for maintenance or safety reasons. Changing conditions of Entry or Club Rules.

Where this occurs, Freeway will provide reasonable notice on the Club notice boards and at reception
